When you have your excess tech handled through our solution, our partner, Sustainable Tech 4 Good, will securely erase all data-bearing devices to HMG Infosec Standard 5 Enhanced (Department of Defence 5220.22-M). Your tech is then refurbished and made available to help people in need with digital inclusion, while preventing e-waste.

Arrange Collection or Drop Off
The team will work with you to arrange a free collection, or you can drop off in person with Cambridge Online at Allia Future Business Centre.
For mobile phones, you can also use our Drop-Box scheme, with a variety of locations available in the Cambridge region.
We Refurbish & Redistribute
Sustainable Tech 4 Good will securely data-erase, repair & refurbish your tech, and we ensure devices reach the people in our community who need them most.
Excess Tech Post-Upgrade?
Sustainable Tech 4 Good’s cost-neutral solution and your organisation's excess tech post-upgrade can help address digital inclusion.
Your legacy devices, once through the HMG-enhanced data-secure refurbishment process, are made available to support a wide demographic of need across Cambridgeshire.
In some cases, where the equipment value exceeds the cost of collection and donation, Sustainable Tech 4 Good may purchase the equipment outright. After refurbishment, it is sold through Tech4Change.co.uk — their online store, offering affordable, sustainable technology, with proceeds funding further device donations.

Is my data safe when I donate a device?
Absolutely. Every device we receive is professionally data-erased by our specialist data services partner, Sustainable Tech 4 Good, to HMG Infosec Standard 5 Enhanced (Department of Defence 5220.22-M) standard before any refurbishment begins. For business donations, you’ll receive a full audit report and certificate of data erasure. You can also factory-reset your device before donating if you prefer.
