Our digital equipment loan scheme is open to small Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) groups providing digital inclusion activities for Cambridge residents with social and / or economic disadvantage. Groups can apply to borrow equipment for a one-off event, a series of events, or for a period of time, up to three months (extendable). The equipment includes new and refurbished computer tablets, laptops, and mobile internet connections. These are available in combination to help each situation. The equipment is intended for direct use by organisations at their events, and is not for onward loan to individuals.

To support this scheme, we also have a team of Digital Champions who are available to support you and your customers with digital skills training.
The loan scheme is funded by Cambridge City Council Community Grants as part of their commitment to support digital inclusion work in the City, and is free to use.
Digital Skills Training and Support
We have a team of trainers ready to help organisations with Digital Skills Training and Support. Perhaps your organisation needs help moving from a manual paper system to digital, wants to understand Social Media or Spreadsheets, learn about internet safety or how to use video calls. Thanks to a grant from Cambridge City Council, this service is available free of charge to VCSE groups in Cambridge, while other organisations will need to pay a fee. Internet Devices & Connectivity Purchasing Scheme
If you have funds available to buy internet devices and / or connectivity for your customers, we can provide a bespoke purchasing service which is hassle-free and competitive. We can source, set-up, deliver and provide training – whatever you need. If you purchase devices through us, we will also give your recipients a learning account which provides 12 months free access to our online learning platform and our team of Digital Champions who are available for email and phone support.
